T is actively seeking a Business Analyst for an immediate 1 year contract engagement with our government client, with possible extension.
Job Location:
This position is hybrid with two days in office weekly.
Job Description:
The Business Analyst role involves gathering and clearly documenting business requirements from clients.
The focus is on comprehending these requirements thoroughly to effectively communicate the business needs and system functionality to technical and non-technical stakeholders, project team members, and the user community.
Responsibilities:
Documenting business requirements that are clear, unambiguous, testable, and meet the business need, following standard templates and adherence to relevant policies and standards.
Facilitating requirement gathering meetings to identify impacted business processes and document project business requirements.
Managing project backlogs during Agile projects and collaborating with the product owner to set priorities throughout the project duration, ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
Understanding project scope and actively monitoring the requirements process to maintain alignment with project objectives.
Grasping high-level information governance objectives and ensuring appropriate stakeholder inclusion or awareness regarding data requirements.
Addressing critical IT issues relevant to the Business Analyst role.
Understanding project-specific benefits and the related impact of changes to project scope or business requirements.
Ensuring that project deliverables relevant to the Business Analyst's role are completed, reviewed, and approved following area processes.
Collaborating directly with the project team, including UI/UX designers, tech leads, solution architects, database administrators, developers, QA testers, and technical writers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the requirements, functionality, size, and scalability of the IT solution.
Required Skills:
Business Analyst Experience - 5
Years Professional Experience in an Agile environment - 5
Years Experience with testing.
Prompt action on project needs with a sense of urgency and efficiency.
Ability to work within a team environment and effectively communicate (both written and oral) with clients and customers.
Bachelor's Degree Available
